Mark Rosselot

Fire Chief

Chief Mark Rosselot joined the department in 1974 as a cadet. He received his firefighter certification at the age of 18 in 1978 and served until he had to move out of the area in 1983 due to work. Mark returned to the area and the department in 1995 and has served the community ever since.

He has held numerous positions at the department, including Trustee, Vice President, President, Assistant Chief, and his present role as Fire Chief. Mark has been married to Lieutenant Jenny Rosselot for over 40 years. They have two grown children, Tory Rummel and Curtis Rosselot, who also live in the community, and four grandchildren. His hobbies include family functions, working on the farm, and camping.

Gene "Bill" Adkins

Assistant Chief / Training Officer

Assistant Chief Bill Adkins has been in the fire service for 25 years after following in his grandfather Cecil "Gene" Mains' footsteps to become a firefighter. He started as a cadet for Fayetteville Fire Department and is currently a Volunteer Fire Assistant Chief/Training Officer and a Career Fire Captain/Training Officer for Loveland-Symmes Fire Department.

After high school, Bill joined the Navy and became a diesel mechanic and nozzle man for the At Sea Fire Party and In Port Emergency Team. He also served two tours in the Middle East and was a mechanic for the Army National Guard. He attended fire school at Scarlet Oaks, became Firefighter II certified, and graduated paramedic school at the University of Cincinnati in 2007.

Bill is also a certified Fire Instructor, Fire Safety Inspector, Aircraft Rescue Firefighter, Rescue Technician, Swift Water Technician II, Hazmat Technician, VFIS Drivers Instructor, and Dive Rescue Specialist. He has been married to Jessica Adkins for over 20 years. His hobbies include traveling, riding his motorcycle, and camping.

Assistant Chief

Assistant Chief Andy Huber is a Fayetteville native and has been in the fire service for 26 years. He started as a cadet with the Fayetteville Fire Department and is currently an Assistant Chief.

Andy is also a Captain with Loveland-Symmes Fire Department, where he has served since 2002. He previously served as a part-time Firefighter/Paramedic for Wayne Township Fire and Rescue for over 11 years and Milford Community Fire Department for 9 1/2 years.

Andy has served as President of Fayetteville Fire Department Inc., including 13 years as Vice President, and has served as Task Force One Dive Commander. His certifications include fire instruction, Firefighter II, Fire Officer, Fire Safety Inspector, BLS/ACLS instruction, rescue technician disciplines, grain bin rescue, farm rescue, hazmat, dive rescue, swift water, and ice rescue training.

Delta Johnson

Assistant Chief / EMS

Assistant Chief Delta Johnson moved to the area in 1988 and joined the department in November of that year. She received her first certification in 1989 and became a paramedic in 1998.

Delta serves as department treasurer and is the EMS Assistant Chief responsible for EMS. She has three sisters, one daughter, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Jenny Rosselot

Captain Jenny Rosselot joined the department in 1990. After joining, she received her EMT-B and Firefighter I certifications. She has served as Secretary and Assistant Treasurer for multiple years and has served on various department committees.

Jenny has also served as a VFIS Driver's Instructor and in Hazmat Operations. She is a Fayetteville native, born and raised in the community. She and her husband, Chief Mark Rosselot, raised two children who also live in the area and have four grandchildren. Jenny joined the department to give back to her community and loves being an EMT. Her hobbies include the outdoors, crafts, and building memories with family.

Dale Reuss has been with Fayetteville Fire & EMS since 2006, when he started as a cadet while attending Fayetteville Perry High School. He was promoted in 2018 and has received certifications as a Firefighter II, Paramedic, Fire Instructor, Live Fire Instructor, EMS Instructor, Rope Rescue Technician, Howell Rescue Auto Extrication, Grain Bin Rescue, ACLS, and PALS.

Dale is also the program coordinator for EMS continuing education. He is married to fellow member Kayla, and they have a daughter, Gracelyn. When he is not working, Dale enjoys being with family, camping, and sightseeing.

Lieutenant Rick Gauche has been in the fire service since 2013. He currently serves as a Lieutenant for Fayetteville Fire & EMS. Rick also works part time for Mt. Orab Fire & EMS and full time at Rumpke as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

His certifications include Firefighter I, EMT-Basic, Howell Rescue Auto Extrication, Grain Bin Rescue, and CPR. Rick is married to Krystle Gauche, and they have two boys, Cole and Carter. He enjoys camping and fishing with his family.

Lieutenant Justin Pritchard joined the department in 2006 and received his firefighter certificate shortly after. He is certified in Grain Bin Rescue, Wildland Fire and Prescribed Burns, and CPR.

Justin is in charge of vehicle and equipment maintenance for the department. He is married to Emily Pritchard, and they have two daughters. Justin enjoys working on the farm and spending time with his family.

Lieutenant Daniel Cayse has been in the fire service since 2009, when he started as a cadet with Miami Township Fire Department in Clermont County. He received his EMT certification in 2010, Firefighter II in 2012, and paramedic certification in 2013.

Daniel is a full-time dispatcher for the Cincinnati Fire Department, a part-time Firefighter/Medic for Miami Township, and started with Fayetteville Fire Department in 2021. He is married to FF/Medic Sarah Cayse. In his off time, Daniel enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Lieutenant Austin Caldwell grew up in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville Perry in 2013. He has been with Fayetteville Fire & EMS since 2015 and is also a career Firefighter/EMT.

His certifications include Firefighter Level II, EMT-Basic, CPR Instructor, Fire Safety Inspector, Rope Rescue Technician, Howell Rescue Auto Extrication, and Fire Apparatus Operator. Austin oversees all fire prevention for Fayetteville Fire & EMS. His hobbies include spending time with his wife Alyssa, friends and family, woodworking, fishing, the outdoors, and boating.

Phill Nause

Fire Marshal / Lieutenant

Fire Marshal Phill Nause started his career as a cadet with Wayne Township Fire Department in 1982 and became a certified firefighter in 1986. He joined Fayetteville Fire Department in 1995 as a firefighter. During his tenure, he obtained EMS, Fire Inspector, and fire investigation certifications and currently has 41 years of total service.

Phill was promoted to Lieutenant and remained at that level until 2002. He also held the office of Vice President. He later left the area for a time, returned to the department in 2020, and was promoted to Fire Marshal / Lieutenant in 2023. He is responsible for code enforcement and fire investigations in the community and township.
